Mat Yoga Class - 12:00 - 12:45pm -- This yoga class weaves together the principles of slow flowing movements with breath. We will begin with basic warming up stretches and build with mindful deeper movement followed by some relaxation stretches and quiet rest. Appropriate for all who seek stress relief and balancing the body, mind and spirit. Bring a yoga mat (or there are some available at studio to borrow) and wear comfortable clothing.
Aerial Yoga Class 1 - 1:00 - 1:45 pm Aerial Yoga Class 2 - 2:00 - 2:45 pm
The class is for those new to aerial yoga. We will cover the basic wraps and postures so that you will learn how to invert, fly, and flow. We will use the swing to keep alignment, build strength in the body and improve flexibility. Plus lots of fun! No Jewelry or Chewing Gum Permitted. All jewelry including wedding rings, bracelets, necklaces, earrings must be removed prior to class. Jewelry can cause injury to self and also damage the fabric. Wear comfortable clothing, preferably no tank tops or sleeveless shirts. Bring a yoga mat (or there are some at the studio to borrow).
Entrance and Parking - The studio is located at 129 Broadway. Entrance is around back through the parking garage. There is ample street parking on Broadway, but you may also park in the attached parking garage where the entrance is. There is also a municipal lot with meters, since the event is held on a Sunday, the lot is free parking.
